Petition in Support of Changing Medicare Part D  (Prescription Drug Benefit)

To be presented to State and Federal elected officials

We, the undersigned, being of legal voting status, hereby petition you, our duly elected representatives in legislative authority, to, with all haste, revamp and rewrite the Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Benefit law to better serve those whom the law is intended to benefit.

WE recognize the law as it stands in April 2006 has the following shortfalls:
*The complexity of the drug benefit as is currently written creates extreme
difficulties to prospective beneficiaries.
*Significant tax dollars of the expenditures will directly benefit industry
(Insurance, Pharmaceutical and Medical Corporations) at the expense of the elderly.
